NOTD: Holo lace with a french tip!

Hi all!!!  Today I have a sexy french tip to share with you all!  I’ve been trying to use my polishes that I’ve bought but haven’t tried yet.  The polish I’m wearing is ILNP Aria and it’s SO gorgeous!!!! ❤  I used Moyra Lace Love stamping plate for this look and it worked out so beautifully!
Check out the pictures below!

What do you think of this look?  Isn’t it so sparkly?  I’m trying to get as many posts in as I can because today is my kids last day of school and I won’t have as much time to do nailart/post.  Thanks for reading today and I’ll talk to you all soon!

Nails for the week: Essie Without a Stitch and water decals!

Helloo everyone!!!  I have a simple nail art look to share with you all today!  My hubby bought me a bunch of new Essie polishes that I had been wanting and I decided to use one for my manicure for the week.  Without a Stitch is a gorgeous gray neutral cream and I just love how it looks with my skin tone.  I also paired some fun Born Pretty Store decals with this look. (The decals were sent for my review.)  Let me know what you think in the comments down below!
If you’re noticing that my nails are shorter, then you are most certainly right!  I had some severe damage on my ring and pinky finger to my nail plates from not wearing a gel base coat with gel polish.  I pushed back my cuticle under my  nail so I could easily file away the damaged parts.  I actually like this length for my nails/hands.  Thanks for reading today and I’ll talk to you all soon!

Elegant Dotticure Nails for the Weekend!

Hey there you all!  Hope your weekend is going good!  So far it’s been a lazy Saturday, which is what I always want on a Saturday!  I decided to play with some of my more recent Essie purchases and do a simple nail art look.  This is probably the most simple and easy nail art look I’ve ever done!  All you need is a dotting tool (or a toothpick if you don’t have one) and a couple of colors that go together well!  Make the dots bigger toward your nail tip and tinier as you go down toward your cuticle.  It’s that simple!  On to the pictures 🙂

The first couple of pictures were taken in kind of indirect sunlight.

This next picture was taken outside in direct sunlight!  Just look at that gorgeous glitter shine!
Is this a nail art look that you’d be willing to try?  If you do get inspired by any looks that I’ve done and want to recreate them, tag me on my instagram!  My IG handle is @nailsbylatoya06.  Thanks for reading today and I’ll talk to you all soon!

Essie Summer 2017 Swatches and Review!

Hi everyone!  I bought Essie’s entire summer collection and swatched them!  I love all of the colors SO much!  Let’s start with my favorites first!
First up is S’il Vous Play which is a rose gold foil pink.  It took two coats to reach opacity!
Next is Éclair My Love which is a vibrant red with a hint of pink!  Perfect for summer!  This shade was almost a 1 coater!
Blue-La-La is a light powder blue… If that makes any sense lol… I used two coats.  Make sure you let the first coat dry before the second or you risk pulling up the first coat and having bald spots!
Next up is Sweet Soufflé which is an alabaster white with red/copper shimmers.  This shade is almost a dupe for OPI’s Oh My Majesty.  If I remember to, I’ll do a post and show the comparisons between the shades.  I used two coats on all of my fingers and then had to touch up some bald spots on my middle and ring finger.
Baguette Me Not is a pinky purple (lilac) and it took two coats for opacity.  This is the perfect color for me!!! I love it!
And lastly we have Fondant of You.  This is a vibrant orange with a hint of pink, and packed with gold and pink shimmers.  Perfect for summer!  I used 2 coats. Overlook the cat hair lol… Sometimes it can’t be helped.
Which shade was your favorite out of all of them?  I love S’il Vous Play and Éclair My Love (I have it on right now).  Check out my swatch video down below to see how these apply! Also,  Stay tuned the next few days for some nail art with these gorgeous shades!  Thanks for reading today and I’ll talk to you all soon!

Mani swap with Nails by Belle!

Hi everyone!  I done a mani swap with one of my readers (and one of my fav. nail blogs) Nails by Belle!  She had a gorgeous rainbow floral pattern she did and decided to do my best to recreate it!  I used Bundle Monster BM-XL218 stamping plate and three of Bundle Monster’s opaque stamping polishes for a rainbow gradient effect.

I had so much fun doing this!!! If you want to see how her look turned out, check out her blog post here.  Thank you for doing a maniswap with me!!!

Fancy Rose and Gold stamping featuring Winstonia W402 stamping plate!

I’m back again!  Wow! That was a long title lol.  I’ve been craving some really feminine and fancy nail art and this mani hits the spot!  I bought a bunch of Winstonia plates a while back and decided to use one of them.  This plate has a lot of floral and rose images and I just couldn’t resist using it.  I used Wet n Wild French White Creme for the base, Essie Good as Gold for the stamping and What’s up Nails Oval Vinyls for the black space.
What do you think of this look?  Would you ever wear it?  Thanks for reading today and I’ll talk to you all soon!
