Weight Loss Experiment! Cut out sugar for 2 weeks!

Hi everyone!  Some of you may or may not know, but I’ve lost a significant amount of weight.  About 3 years ago I decided to make a change and start to exercise and eat healthier.  I ended up going from 155 down to 128.  That’s 27 pounds of fat!  It was all great until I started to lose massive amounts of my hair and had to cut back on my exercising.  I don’t know if that’s common to lose your hair if you lose weight, but it happened to me.  When I cut back on my exercise I gained back 7 pounds and was up to 135.

My ultimate goal is 125, but I keep yo-yo-ing back and forth.  I was at 130 about 3 or 4 weeks ago, but then I started to binge eat on junk food and gained back 3 pounds.  I’m finally putting my foot down and am going to cut out refined sugars.  I am going to allow myself my morning cup of coffee with my cream and sugar, but that’s it.  If I get a craving for a sugary snack, I’ll turn to fruit to satisfy that craving.  Lately I’ve just not been caring what I eat and have been over eating big time!  I’ve also been feeling like crap as well.
I’m going to keep a log of how I feel and will update at the end of the week if I had any kind of withdrawal symptoms.  I’m actually pretty interested to see how this goes!  If any of you want to do this with me and challenge yourself, then please let me know!  Thanks for reading and I’ll talk to you all soon!

  1. I cut out sugar at a particularly bad peak of sugar addiction. It was one of the best things I ever did. The first couple of days are hell, but hang in there! Best of luck & looking forward to hearing back from you on the other side of this!
