L’Oreal Garden Bouquet swatch and thoughts…

Hey everyone! So, as you all know.. I did pick up a couple of the new L’Oreal spring polishes at my local Walgreens.  Today’s post is on the chunky glitter topper called “Garden Bouquet.”  This polish was so cute at the store that I couldn’t walk past it without picking it up.  However, I did have some issues with application and the flower glitters in particular.  First we’ll look at the pictures of how lovely this polish is!

As you can tell from the bottle, this polish is immensely packed with glitters.  It has hexagonal baby pink glitter, green bar glitter, and large baby pink flower glitters.  I had issues with the flowers mainly.  It was very difficult to get them onto the brush.  I definitely had to fish for them, and once I finally did get them on the nail, they would snag on everything!  So, I decided to layer it with an Essie polish for a glitter jelly sandwich!  This manicure was kind of meh and a fail for me, but I will share it anyways.

I honestly don’t know what I was thinking with this manicure… but thought I would share it anyways… even if it was a fail.  How are you liking the quality of the pictures? They definitely show how dry my hands and cuticles are!!! Thanks for reading, and I’ll see you all soon!

  1. I admire people who are brave enough to leave pictures of their ‘failures’. The perfect pictures make it more difficult for us to remember that for every win, there are loads of tries and failed that lead to that win. Perfect is boring. Frankly I like this mani, its very pretty and feminine and dainty, everything that Essie aspires to be, so thank you for sharing it.

  2. I have tried to use this polish a couple of times and I agree with you. The cute flowers were very difficult to get and place. I am happy it wasn’t just me! 😊
